Studio Hum is a Zen arts center with private studios, classroom & event space located in Downtown Johnson City, TN. Our unique studio environment supports spiritual practice, artists, and professionals.
Studio Features
The Blue Plum Zendo is the central meditation hall at Studio Hum, offering regular Zen practice opportunities.
The Lotus Room features weekly movement classes, and is available for rent as a classroom or event space.
Blue Dragon Tea shop features high quality teas at affordable cost, along with tea wares, fine incense, and books.
Our private studio rentals offer a peaceful work environment and panoramic mountain views.

The Lotus Room is available to class instructors of all types, with a focus on arts and movement classes. Studio Hum takes a flat 30% fee of all class fees.
We are located just off of North Roan St. behind the Medicine Shoppe, across the street from Goodoo Bowl and Open Door Coffeehouse. Vista Ridge Detal Arts (Dr. Amy Moody) is on the 1st floor of our building. Appalachian Dharma & Meditation Center and The Lotus Room are located in the basement. Our private studios and the Blue Plum Zendo are located on the 2nd floor.
