The Lotus Room is a 1,400 square foot practice and performance venue with deep roots in downtown Johnson City. Started as a multipurpose community meeting space hosting tai chi, yoga, peace dances, and meditation - the Lotus Room has been serving local artists and spiritual practitioners for 15 years.
The Lotus Room currently offers regular yoga, dance, sound bath, kirtan and other community gatherings.

Belly Dance Fitness classes are a beginner friendly way to introduce ALL BODIES into movement while building confidence and having fun together in a body positive community! This class is designed to shimmy, giggle, and let go of your stress from the week. Beginners are encouraged to join this basic class that will keep you moving but NO EXPERIENCE is necessary!!!

Belly Dance Fusion Choreography with Meraki Dance Studio
Fusion Choreography Class brings the power of movement to the more skilled learners table. This class is designed to allow students to utilize dance techniques learned from previous Meraki classes, or other structured movement classes,....experienced learning with accurate timing is required.

Beginner Belly Dance with Meraki Dance Studio
This class is designed to teach basic belly dance technique training and drills, history lessons, musical theory, and studies of the art form. This class takes the basic movements from our 100-201 Level fundamentals, and applies them to create muscle memory in the body and build technique to place into application for fun in combos to practice at home.

Yoga Movement, Meditation, and Pranayama with Yoga Tree
Class begins with centering, short stillness session, breathing, setting intention. This is an all levels practice session with pranayama, movement, and a 10 minute savasana (final rest) an inspirational reading will be included and yogic philosophy threaded throughout the session. Prepare to be challenged with the understanding that you can customize this session according to your personal level and style of practice.
