Join for a relaxed Sunday evening Zen Art Practice session with Kiho and friends. We will be taking up the Zen Mountain Monastery Spring Training Period (Ango) Art Practice assignment - exploring prompts provided by our Zen Teachers as an way to enter into Buddhist teachings and deepen and express our understanding of the Dharma (and ourselves) through the artistic process.

Some simple art making materials will be provided, but please feel free to bring your own art materials if you please. Especially welcome to those who don’t consider themselves artists!

Please register to help us plan for the gathering, however drop ins are welcome at any point in the evening.

Suggested donation $5-20

Join us for tea, liturgy and 2 periods of zazen (meditation), followed by a dharma talk streamed live from Zen Mountain Monastery. Those attending for the first time will be given beginning instruction in zazen and a brief orientation to zen practice.

9:00 AM - Settle in and have some tea
9:30 AM - Liturgy service
9:45AM - Two periods of zazen (seated meditation) and kinhin (walking meditation)
11AM - noon - Dharma talk livestream from Zen Mountain Monastery

A suggested donation of $3-$5 is appreciated.

Registration is not required.
